Hi! I'm Christy and I have been teaching in some way, shape, or form for the past 23+ years! I have taught everything from preschool art (so fun!) to high school philosophy (also fun). I love every aspect of teaching and helping a student achieve their goals and experience success. I have been a public school 2nd grade teacher, private tutor, preschool teacher, and high school director. But my favorite teaching role has been homeschooling my own two children for the past 13 years! I also have an M.Ed. in elementary education.

I have more than 40 years working as an editor and writer for multiple special interest publications and hold a B.A. in English Liberal Arts. Although new to tutoring, I consider working as a tutor an extension of my previous business experience.
