I am retired from the Air Force. While enlisted I trained to help people learn to read. I was also a technical school instructor in my career field. I am easy to work with, and want to make the tutoring enjoyable but effective. I am not currently employed.

I have experience tutoring a 1st Grader with his homework since August of 2025, and I'm willing to do it to others! I was homeschooled from pre-K through highschool graduation, and I can't wait to homeschool my children in a few years. Until then I'm willing to help how I can to others!

I am a teacher certified in the areas of Elementary Education, ESE, and English (grades 6-12). I am currently teaching second grade, but I have experience teaching other elementary grades, as well as working with college-level students helping them with paper writing. I enjoy helping students better understand the English language. I love seeing my students become better able to express themselves, both orally and in writing.

I grew up in a bilingual home with the blessing of learning Spanish first and going on to enjoying language to include speaking, reading and writing. I also loved music both from my Hispanic culture and American. I started singing in elementary choirs and went on to continue to use my vocal ability for years and took vocal lessons for over three years. I also sung with an advanced worship team for over 5 years and sang the soprano part.
