I am a middle school math teacher with overs 20 years of experience. I have taught at all levels - from 6th grade math to Algebra. I am able to break down complex concepts to a more student friendly process. I have a solid track record of getting positive results.

I am certified high school science teacher that specializes in earth science, biology, and chemistry. I have a bachelor’s of science in marine biology and environmental sciences. Before becoming a teacher I was a marine biologist for five years so I do have quite a lot of field experience as well. My goal as a tutor is not only success for the student in the class but for them to also feel very confident about that subject matter.

I have been a teacher for more than 40 years to students of different ages, levels and needs. Inside-Out Learning Hub means that I cater to my students strengths and consider academic, emotional, psychological, social and physical needs and abilities . Learning should feel clear, possible, empowering and fun. I create a support system for students where tutor, student, parents and teachers can collaborate to help the student succeed. I use various strategies both traditional and innovative to achieve learning and skill development in engaging and positive sessions were students can thrive.
