Morgan's (Virtual) Tutoring Services
About
I have 10 years of experience in the Special Education profession. My Masters degree is in Secondary Special Education, and I am a certified Special Education teacher in the states of Maryland and Florida. Prior to moving to South Florida, I taught Middle School and High School Students in Maryland. I am currently teaching in a private middle school in South Florida. I can easily differentiate my instruction based on a variety of techniques and learning styles. Also, organizational skills, executive functioning skills, and study strategies are other major areas of strength for me.
I enjoy working with students in a one-to-one capacity and setting them up for success. I especially like supporting students with their writing and executive functioning skills, as I know those skills will be necessary and important in college, the working world, and all areas of life. When I taught in the public school setting, my classes consisted of 40 students. With such a large number of students in the classroom, I found it challenging to meet the needs of everyone. Tutoring and working with students one-on-one allows me to offer individualized support and instruction, which I love!
