We are a completely virtual tutoring center that tutors all of our students through the zoom platform. The company was opened in 2021 by Graciela Mallett who holds a Bachelors in supervision and management and an Associates in Exceptional students studies. Additionally, she has worked with students in the public schools for the past 9 years. All of the tutors who work with the company are highly trained and exhibit excellent skills in order to transfer their knowledge to the students. We tutor all subjects for students grades Pre-k through 12th grade. We strive on showing kindness and patience to all students while helping them achieve their academic goals and acquire the skills necessary to succeed. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our typical process for working with a new student is first to ask them where they feel they are having the most issues with a certain subject. From their we do a little evaluation to see where they are struggling and we tell them the plan we have for them to help them develop the skills they are looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with MDCPS for 9 years. I have worked in classrooms with students of all levels as well as students in special education courses. Additionally I have been tutoring for 9 years and hold an AA in exceptional students studies and a bachelors in Business.

How did you get started teaching?
I started volunteering as a teenager with students who had special needs and I loved it. When I was 18 I applied to work in an after school program with my local elementary and I fell in love with being in the classroom. I also come from a family of educators and administrators so I learned a lot from them!
