I am an English MA student currently working on my last semester of graduate school. I'm a huge lover of literature, and very passionate about encouraging critical thinking, communication, and empathy skills through English studies. Hey I’m Mrs. Kristie. I’ve been a teacher now for 5 years. I have tutored elementary students during the COVID pandemic. I have a masters in English. I have taught 3 years in elementary school 1st-4th grade. I care about the students who I tutor and want them to succeed. I’m easy going and love what I do. I’m down to earth and easy to talk to and I want you to understand what it is that you need to learn.

I am a former teacher with 15 years experience. I taught grades 6-12 and subjects ranging from English to writing to test prep as well as Social Studies. I feel very comfortable tutoring for any of these subjects. My students excelled on the state assessments and many other tests each year. I truly enjoy the one on one experience of tutoring. I now have two young children and have taught them the pre-k curriculum at home. I really enjoy teaching reading and math skills to this age.
