I am a certified teacher for 1st to 6th grade. I have been working in the Ossining School District for 10 years as an elementary teacher with over 30 years experience working with students. I am kind, caring and a positive educator who truly enjoys teaching. I am knowledgeable across all content areas and am able to share a variety of skills and strategies that will help any struggling student.

I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with 4 years of experience working with students of different learning styles and abilities. I specialize in creating engaging, supportive, and personalized lessons that help students build confidence and improve academically. I have experience supporting students in reading, writing, math, and study skills, and I work to make learning positive, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s needs. I am Orton-Gillingham certified. My goal is to help students feel successful while developing skills they can carry into the classroom and beyond.

I started tutoring when I was in high school and then in college. Over the years, I tutored as a part-time job whenever I had extra time. I love helping students understand the subject they are learning. My style of teaching is part fun and part serious. I think my students always ended up with improvements.
