I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have tutored students individually and in small groups as well as working with home schooled children in the creative arts.

I have my Master of Arts in Reading and Learning Disabilities from Columbia University, Teachers College. I have taught at a number of schools for dyslexic students and apply a variety of multisensory Orton-Gillingham based programs including The Wilson Reading System when working with students struggling in phonics and spelling. I am an elementary school teacher who holds New York State certifications in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2). I also hold a B.S. in Elementary Education from Boston University and an M.Ed in Language Education from Trinity College Dublin.
