I am a physics professor at a college with a Ph.D. in Physics. For over ten years, I have been tutoring college and high school students in physics and math. I believe active engagement is the most effective way to learn physics and math. My highly interactive teaching approach focuses on hands-on problem-solving and conceptual understanding. I am a recent graduate from the University of Chicago, with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics. I have 4 years of experience tutoring, and am a proficient instructor of SAT/ACT prep, Math (pre-Algebra through Calculus 3), English, Chemistry, and College Essay writing.
