Adam Robertson
About
Hello!
My name is Adam Robertson and I have been working in education since 2016. I began as a paraprofessional, working in the Ridgefield school district while earning my Masters in Special Education from the University of Hartford. In 2020, I began teaching in an intensive special education classroom at RHS, and am starting my first year at BES; this school is beginning an intensive special education program there (RISE) and I am happy to be part of its launch.
I have many years of experience in teaching those with complex cognitive and behavioral needs, and understand the importance of multisensory and multimodal instruction when fostering educational support.
Additionally, I am comfortable referencing IEPs, behavioral and ecological assessments, and would be more than willing to consult with teachers and related service providers in order to maximizing understanding of the students needs, procedures, and goals and objectives.
I love my 1:1 sessions as part of my regular job, and am looking forward to continuing them as a tutor.
