Hi, I'm Sumner! I'm a current software engineer at a startup with 6+ years of industry experience and I have taught computer science classes at Colorado School of Mines including six senior level courses and one graduate level course. I graduated from Colorado School of Mines with my masters degree in computer science in 2019.

I like to help students develop intuition about concepts they are learning so they can develop a more holistic understanding of the topics. However, I will adapt my teaching style as necessary for each student.

I can tutor middle school, high school, and college students in all computer science topics as well as some mathematics topics.
