Hi, my name is Alejandra and I offer tutoring services for Math and Science. Outside of work, I enjoy running and practicing yoga. On my days off, you can find me spending time with my cat Keanu Reeves or listening to audiobooks while cleaning.

I have an Associate's Degree from Sacramento City College (SCC) and am currently a MechanicalEngineering major at UC Davis. While my time at SCC I've tutored mathematics classes ranging from Intermediate Algebra to Calculus 2. The mathematics courses that I'm least knowledgeable about are Geometry and Statistics. I've always enjoyed teaching students/classmates/family memebers about mathematics. It always bring me joy when people are able to grasp a concept that they've been struggling with for a while. I like to make learning easy and fun I received a teaching credential from Chico State back in the 70's and was able to obtain a teaching position in Southern California but left after three years for multiple reasons. Always thought there was a possibility of getting back. Now that I am retired I'm thinking it would be fun to share my lifetime of wit and wisdom.

We're flexible with our student's time and fees while also being efficient at communicating Math. Getting students to become interested in Math after they see how simple it really is.
