Hi my name is Komaki I am a graduate in Biology from San Francisco State University. I like to make learning fun. My goals as a tutor is not only to create a successful environment for students to express their ideas and feel empowered to ask questions and seak answers.

Since 2016 I've worked in some local school districts as a Spanish and ELD instructor, but most recently as a substitute teacher. I am credentialed in both German and Spanish and most recently spent time in Sicily. My love of languages will be apparent working with students who may be struggling in Spanish, German and/or learning English as a second language.

I started tutoring as a teacher, when I was in 7th grade I taught 1st and 2nd grade kids. I taught until I went to college. I enjoy teaching, engaging and interacting with kids. I am fun, patient, and ready to bring the best out of my students.

My name is Aysha Tahir. I have a highschool diploma. I am going to community college right now, and I’m hoping to become a pediatric nurse one day. I am a very patient and flexible person. I understand everyone one has different ways of learning and will enjoy helping students with that. I also love learning myself, and I’m hoping to make academics a fun or enjoyable thing for students.

I am patient and enjoy solving math problems. If students like math or any other subjects, they have a better chance of succeeding in them. I want them to try solving a math problem by using different methods. There's always more than one way to solve a certain math problem. The more ways they know, the more open-minded they become. That's the goal I want students to achieve: to become open-minded and be creative. Having an open mind helps them both in school and in life.
