I am a graduate student studying applied statistics at CSULB after receiving my BS degree in mathematics from LMU. I have experienced in teaching SAT math. After one month of classes (two 2-hour sessions per week), most students showed a 10–20% improvement in all Module 1 and Module 2 scores. For example, one student who had scored 720 achieved a 770 on a practice test after a month. The classes are primarily focused on reviewing and analyzing incorrect answers, practicing solving problems within the time limit, and intensively working on each student’s weak areas.

I want to learn and keep the knowledge by teaching. I have 2 bachelor's degree, Biomedical Science and Nursing, and a master's degree in Nursing. I went to a medical school abroad for a semester but currently on leave of absence due to financial reason. I am currently working in the US.

As a current college student, I have experience working at a preschool for 3+ years and have been tutoring K-5 students for the past 2 years. I also do have experience tutoring middle to high school students as all K-12 materials are still fresh in mind. I love getting to know students through academics and can provide quick feedback and can flexibly work with the student's schedules. I always welcome staying in touch with the parent when tutoring and can teach in both English and Korean. I will do my best to help the student with their academic weaknesses working with the student to gain confidence and enjoy learning.
