Since 2016 I've worked in some local school districts as a Spanish and ELD instructor, but most recently as a substitute teacher. I am credentialed in both German and Spanish and most recently spent time in Sicily. My love of languages will be apparent working with students who may be struggling in Spanish, German and/or learning English as a second language.

If I explain something and it doesn't make sense to you, I will try to explain it a different way until it's understood. I understand neurodivergencies and how we need to learn a different way than traditionally taught. I've been doing art for over 50 years and I'm a native Salvadoran, so Spanish was my first language. I'm an incredibly patient tutor, always ready to challenge a student while meeting where they are at in terms of the instruction they have received. I also consider myself an extremely thorough tutor, ensuring that students understand concepts fully as opposed to just memorizing a pattern or rule.
