As a current English Teacher with 12+ years of tutoring experience, all 6-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from sixth grade all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. As a fully credentialed teacher with 10 years of teaching experience, working at the elementary (Kinder - 5th grade) and middle school (6th - 8th grade) levels, I love helping students overcome obstacles. With a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, I teach English, math, social studies, science, and art. I enjoy getting to know kids on a personal level and seeing that "Aha!" moment when they suddenly understand a concept.
