Kayleigh Vu

A current college student going into my third year, I have gained experience being a crucial role in the development of children and teens during their development academically and physically through sports. Over the summer of 2022, I coached a various number of sports to children ages 6-12 at a sports camp and it developed my great passion to help these children find their pathways. I have finished my mathematics sequence in college including linear algebra, multivariable calculus, applied differential equations, applied probability and statistics, and many more challenging courses. I found a liking in mathematics since middle school but found a greater liking to teach/tutor younger children. I want nothing more than to see others excel but also having fun! I never want to be the strict, tough tutor because these developing children need an uplifter who can help them understand that it is okay to fail and they are never alone as they go on into their future. I focus greatly on building the connection between tutor and student to guarantee great results after each tutoring session. A dive deeper into how I tutor: I am a very patient person who will get to the nitty gritty of each problem to guarantee the student understands the methods, concepts, and answer their “whys?”
