Hello! My name is Danielle Glen. I work as an educational specialist and have been in the special education field for 20+ years. I received my Special Education Mild/Moderate Credential from San Diego State University. I love creating an environment that instills joy, motivation and care and enjoy supporting each student’s own unique way of learning. I teach content in various modified ways to help students reach a better understanding of what they are learning. I have substantial experience working with students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and students with language-based learning disabilities.
Reading Specialties: Utilizes Orton Gillingham approach, Trained in LIPS (Lindamood Bell) Seeing Stars, Bridge the Gap (for Phonemic Awareness), Wilson Reading Systems, Pride Reading and Visualizing and Verbalizing (for Reading Comprehension)
Our lessons will begin after a brief consultation with the parents regarding their child's needs and any concerns. I will discuss the various programs offered and how they are used. Our first lesson will include administering the assessments and building rapport with your child.
