Hello, I'm a graduate of the Univeresity of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a degree in Biochemistry. I have taught children in 7th and 8th grade and am familiar with science and math topics through early college level. I am patient, enthusiastic, and enouraging to all students and believe any person can learn if they set their mind to thet task. My goal is to help students see tangible results and to develop the skills to 'self-teach' in the future.

I am a UCLA graduate with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biochemistry, and 3 years of classroom experience teaching high school biology and chemistry, including AP Biology. I have also tutored individual students ranging from middle school to college in a variety of science and math subjects. I am a friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated educator who aims to make authentic connections with students and help them feel supported and confident in their academic journey. I am skilled at breaking down complex problems into easier to understand pieces, and helping each student figure out which learning and studying method is right for them.
