B.A. Liberal Studies, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Montessori Education Training for 6-12 year olds, M.A. Educational Technology
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I was an education specialist at the Discovery Museum: Science and Space Center (now MOSC). During this time, I started their robotics and engineering program. In 2013, I left the museum to become a classroom teacher at the California Montessori Project where I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. My teaching was tailored to each students individual needs and abilities.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students in 2nd grade to High School specializing in math and science. I have also tutored in reading and writing.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love every light bulb moment that a student has. It is incredibly rewarding to see a student work very hard to finally gain an understanding of a challenging topic.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It can be hard to admit where your weaknesses are. It is important to be honest as we teachers are here to help you be successful. Remember, you will gain knowledge and tools that will help you be successful, but it's up to you to put those to work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It's okay to ask for help when you need it and no question is too silly.
