I feel I have the ability to connect with kids and see their abilities. I am a seasoned teacher having taught at the elementary, junior high, and young adult levels. I have taught math and reading intervention through the Redlands School district for 13 years. I have taught 5th grade for the past 15 years and lower levels before that. Increasig a child's level of confidence and seeing. A child succeed.

Teaching students the most foundation skills for becoming proficient and fluent readers is my thing. I currently hold a Masters in Special Education and am currently working on a Reading Specialist certificate. I have worked in education for 6 years and specifically with students with auditory and visual processing difficulties. Watching students overcome daunting hurdles in learning fuels my love of teaching. My purpose is to help as many struggling readers as possible.
