I got my PhD degree in Economics from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008. After that, I became a faculty member at a top university in China and worked there for 7 years. In 2015, I moved back to the US with my family. I am very interested in teaching and I am also very good at it. I am professional (especially in microeconomics and game theory). I am very patient. I can do online tutoring on Zoom, or in person tutoring within 10 miles of Pleasanton, CA. I have over 25 years teaching and tutoring high school and college students up through AP Calculus. I currently teach at Foothill High School and Las Positas College. When teaching large high school calculus classes, over 90% of my students pass the AP test, most with a score of 5. When tutoring one-on-one, 100% of my students pass the AP test. I also regularly tutor students in Geometry, Algebra II and Precalculus. I love helping students understand math.
