My son's worst subject is math. Unfortunately math is also my worst subject. There came a point where I could no longer help him with his assignments. He went into high school not really prepared for math. (8th grade was distance learning year). We are thankful for Mr. Vermilye because he not only goes over assignments, but also reviews concepts that he needs help with. He also goes over concepts that he will learn further on in the semester. During exams and finals, Mr. Vermilye helps with extra zoom classes and is available through text when my son has a question. He has been invaluable in my son's learning!

I hired Scott because my son who is a working actor, just got cast in television program and needed to work independently. He was having trouble keeping up with certain courses and Scott saved the day! He was patient and persistent and helped my son complete his course work with wonderful grades. To whom it may concern, Julie Sabbah was my 11th grade Pre-Calculus teacher and I can happily say that that was one of the only math classes I took in high school where I felt consistently confident with what I was doing throughout the whole year. It being such a critical course considering it would send me straight into AP Calculus, she knew how important it was to make sure our comprehension of the material was concrete and correct. She was very diligent with assigning and checking our homework, as well as checking our notebooks to make sure we were keeping up with the lessons and practice material. I knew that if I ever needed extra clarification on a concept or came across something that I didn’t understand, she was more than happy to talk with me after class and walk me through the steps to accurately executing the problem.
