Spectrum Tutoring
About
Hello! My name is Michaela Wagner and I am a tutor for children with special needs. I currently tutors kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other rare disorders. Specializing in psychology and behavioral therapy I integrate the two with education and learning. I am currently studying psychology at UC Irvine while also studying to get into medical school.
My goal in life is to help those with special needs achieve the most that they can. I am motivated by the kids I work with and I hope I motivate them as well. I love creating a healthy learning environment where my student can look at me as a friend, mentor, and tutor.

I have been working as a tutor for special needs children since 16 years old. Volunteering often for the special needs sports team in my city of Laguna Niguel, I found many special needs kids who were mainstreamed but still needed a lot of help to get their work done. I have also worked as caretaker for special needs children, especially for children with Cerebral Palsy. I understand what parents go through in the home and what they are looking for when it comes to tutoring their special needs child.
