About
I review problems and fundamental concepts, as well as provide supplemental resources to further improve understanding and problem solving. I primarily tutor for chemistry but I can also tutor for math.
I'm fond of the courses that I tutor for and I'm happy to help others gain a better understanding in these subjects.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I can go over homework questions and how to approach them. If course material is sent before the meeting time, I can prepare ahead of time to go over concepts or calculation questions. I can also provide methods to assist in memorization.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a junior at USC studying environmental engineering.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For most courses, I charge $30 per hour; if clients would like to meet for half an hour I charge $15 per session. For more advanced classes I charge $35 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching late summer during 2020 before starting school and continued.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with college students from UCR, Azusa Pacific, Norco, UNLV, Mt Sac, and Gold West. These students study biology, communications, kinesiology, and nursing. I have also worked with younger students from Diamond Bar High School and Lincoln Middle School.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think students should find a teacher that matches their learning style.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think students should consider their learning style, what they struggle with (ex. concept vs calculations), and at what pace they learn best.
