Hughes is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he double-majored in English and Comparative Literature. He has been tutoring for 6 years and with The Tutor Boost for the last 2, tutoring ACT/SAT, all Common Core subjects, as well as Spanish. He spends his free time hiking/backpacking, writing, cooking through entire cookbooks, seeing live music & comedy, and watching basketball.

As a current college student with a 2+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 materials is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to senior high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. As a current professional in the workforce with 2 years of tutoring the material I learned when I was grade school are still fresh in my mind because I honestly still apply them to my everyday life.
