I am a working professional with a very extensive education. I have a Masters in Business (MBA) and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. I am also constantly studying and learning more about various subjects including politics, history, business, etc. in my spare time. For my professional career, I am an analyst, a tutor, and a genealogist. I work very well with people, and teach and explain things in ways that are easy to understand. I believe every student is capable of doing more than they think they can. Having a student regain their self confidence in the classroom and in their abilities is one of my proudest moments as an educator. I enjoy helping my students and clients find motivation and self-confidence in achieving their goals and improving their skills. Seeing children rediscover the joy in learning and in the "small things" is one of the many aspects of educating I enjoy.

As a student, I had a very difficult time in school and was later diagnosed with ADHD. I developed the necessary study habits and practices to help me succeed in college despite my shortcomings. With these things in mind, I try to teach my students how to be a good learners and help them see how little study habits add up over the semester. I enjoy working with my students and getting to know what they want out of their life: their hopes, dreams, fears, and regrets.
