Online School Help With Sandra!

About

Hello!

I am aware that this 2020 Fall semester has impacted many families in different ways. For the most part, I understand how difficult it is for parents to work with a child at home, trying to learn. I am here to help 2-3 students (starting off) with the online process and any homework trouble. I would have the students from 8-3 (however I am willing to flex my schedule around the parents work time). I am a sophomore in college and am studying to become a school counselor, I have been an AVID tutor in the past and worked with students in many ways. I am here to help!

Frequently asked questions

It is crucial to get to know the student before working with them. This helps the tutor understand which learning method works best for the student, and helps boost a healthy learning environment.

I graduated from Kerman High School. I currently attend Fresno State and am majoring in Sociology. I love working with kids, and enrolled in an Introduction to Education course where I became an AVID tutor and received my certificate. I am hoping to become a school counselor, because I find it very important to help students who are struggling or need assistance.

I am just starting off and am new to this whole home tutoring system. I am charging $20 a day (price may change depending on the work I receive).

I became interested in teaching when I became a teaching assistant, I enjoyed being able to help students!

My senior year of high school I worked with students with special needs in a physical education course, where I learned a lot about the way children behave and why. I have tutored 7th and 8th grade students, as well. However, I am willing to work with any age.
