Hello! I’m Miha Bhaskaran, currently a senior at UC Berkeley studying computer science. I have experience on course staff for an introductory computer science course and have experience with teaching elementary - high school math. I’ve had a passion for mathematics ever since I read Einstein’s Special Relativity at ten years old. That early interest evolved into a deep understanding of the subject, and I’m confident tutoring students at all levels through Calculus II. Using modern tools like smart devices and the Scribble app, remote math learning has never been more engaging. As a college student currently working on a Bachelor's in Mathematics at California State University - Sacramento, I have long held great passion for the subject. My tutoring style is about being adaptable to the students' needs: we can move quickly through material, allowing students to cover a wide breadth of topics in one sitting; or we can move slowly, refining our focus and creating a deeper understanding of fewer topics. Since 2016 I've worked in some local school districts as a Spanish and ELD instructor, but most recently as a substitute teacher. I am credentialed in both German and Spanish and most recently spent time in Sicily. My love of languages will be apparent working with students who may be struggling in Spanish, German and/or learning English as a second language.
