Sara Tonekabkoni

I am a UCLA graduate in Applied Mathematics and recently completed my ALM in Finance at Harvard College. I have +3 years of tutoring and teaching experience, including working as a Math Tutor with Saga Education, Tutor.com, AVID at San Pasqual High School, and as a substitute teacher.

I specialize in helping students understand math in a clear, step-by-step way instead of just memorizing formulas. I know that many students feel stressed or discouraged by math, so I try to create a patient, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. I explain concepts in simple language, give helpful examples, and adjust my teaching style based on each student’s needs.

Students working with me can expect organized lessons, clear explanations, and a tutor who genuinely cares about their progress. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident and independent in math.
