I feel compelled to share a great "find" we made last year. School had only been in session for two weeks before my kids came home lamenting that their AP Physics teacher left them totally confused and stressed out. Switching to a less demanding schedule wasn't an option so I decided to look for some help. Lord knows, it wasn't going to come from me or my husband! I found Daniel, a 2012 UCLA engineering grad who has been tutoring for many years. After the boys' first meeting with him, the level of stress in our household plummeted and the boys did well on their first physics test. We've decided to have him come regularly, just to make sure the boys understand the material and keep them confident. The boys ended up with A's in the class and doing well on the AP test. Daniel was able to help them with anything they didn't get in their calculus class as well. So as you stare the next school year in the face, if your child has any difficulty with their studies, especially in math or physics, consider talking to Daniel. He's a lovely young man and the boys really responded to him well.

Kristina has be an excellent tutor that we have worked with for two years. My daughter met with her both in person and online for biology and online for Honors Calculus. Kristina was an excellent at breaking down tough concepts, utilizing the time wisely, and partnering to improve so my daughter could reach her goals. You will be in good hands with Kristina!!!

Erica is amazingly patient! My kiddo is not too motivated, and very distracted, but Erica's calm and steady demeanor made all the difference. She complimented my kiddo where she saw something to be proud of, and was just overall very pleasant, and quickly effective. My tired kiddo liked her quickly, and learned well each session. I'm very grateful for Erica, and will call on her again as soon as we need more help. : )

Randy tutored my senior high school son and prepared him for his math SAT test. Randy was exceptional in every aspect. Not only his knowledge and ability to teach the material, but also his ability to connect with a teenager in away that my son commented that “Randy was the best teacher I ever had”. Randy wanted to make sure that he covers as much of the material as possible and frequently stayed way over the scheduled sessions times at no extra charge. Randy is an honest, excellent tutor who cares about his students and I highly recommend him as a tutor to students at all ages!

I hired Scott because my son who is a working actor, just got cast in television program and needed to work independently. He was having trouble keeping up with certain courses and Scott saved the day! He was patient and persistent and helped my son complete his course work with wonderful grades. You can tell Scott loves to teach. He was with us for several weeks and was always a pleasure to have around. And this was even during the pandemic.
