Hello! I’m Tiana, a private tutor of all subjects and mentor. I graduated middle school with 4.0 GPA, high school with a 4.6 GPA, and have a 4.0 college GPA. I love teaching others! I am Christinna and I have been tutoring since the fall of 2004. I hold two A. A.'s from Moorpark college. One A. A. is liberal studies and the other is for intermediate level Spanish. I have a B. A. with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Spanish from CSUN. I earned my multiple subject teaching credential from CSUN and added my bilingual authorization in Spanish (BCLAD) the semester after I earned my credential. I taught 5th grade at Canoga Elementary during the 2015-2016 school year and am currently teaching 3rd grade at Limerick Elementary as I begin my sixth year as a teacher. I am a University of Berkeley Alum and a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin. I have over a year of tutoring experience in Calculus and Linear Algebra and other subjects. I am a very patient teacher because I know that true understanding takes time for each students.

We teach math in the way that makes sense to each individual student. We focus on conceptual development and deeper understanding of the material. We develop mathematical intuition and number sense...and most of all, we increase confidence and teach students how to enjoy learning math! I love teaching math. It is my life's passion and purpose. I love sitting with students and watching them experience that "light bulb" moment when the understanding happens. I love seeing students learn to enjoy math instead of fearing it. I love seeing my students succeed....
