As founder and CEO, I have been leading a team of educators as we for 24 years. We write customized plans to meet the unique needs of each student. Using evidence based practices, we implement data driven plans.

I have a passion for teaching and I'm able to develop a strong relationship with my students enabling them to communicate where they struggle or where they need more rigor in order to ensure each student's success. I love to teach students in many different subjects and see their strengths emerge. I have 25 years of tutoring and teaching experience in science and math and language arts from preschool to adult.

I have been tutoring and mentoring middle and high school as well as college students for over 10 years, both as a private tutor for academic subjects as well as an employee of an SAT prep company. I am returning to California after a pause in my recent PhD work, and will be resuming active tutoring after a hiatus. As the daughter of an English teacher I have spent my whole life grading papers! So I suppose it is no surprise that I ended up working as an editor. After graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Professional Writing, I have worked at several publishing houses editing manuscripts and now edit long form projects freelance. I am a current 3rd year at UC Berkeley studying Data Science and Computer Science, and have years of experience comprised of teaching computer science to Berkeley students in undergraduate organizations, coaching speech and debate, and tutoring AP classes. I look forward to tutoring K-12 students on anything STEM, writing, and college application prep related.
