I hold two BA degrees in English from Cal St San Bernardino and Cinema from Columbia College Hollywood. I've been a tutor since 1994 and also worked in the classroom for five years. I wish to work with students who want to improve their skills in English and Writing. I enjoy working with students who are eager to be taught. I am a former classroom teacher with experience working with students in grades 3-8. I specialized in reading, writing, and literature, but I am also skilled in elementary and middle school math. I have 10+ years of experience in education working with students of diverse backgrounds.

We provide customized services and have been successful with literacy and numeracy goals for diverse Tucson students and their needs. I have been an educator for more than 40 years and have worked in 4 different countries. I pride myself on my ability to assess, teach and focus on what a student needs next to be successful. My original degree is a master from the New Zealand College of Education. I am a trained Reading Recovery teacher, and currently work providing curriculum support for teachers in TUSD.

I have been teaching and tutoring for twenty years and have taught all grade levels from Kindergarten through twelfth. It has been a love and passion of mine to teach all to read, write and find their love of learning. I have been trained in many different teaching modalities and techniques. I have a M.
