I am a graduate from the University of Central Florida, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial Engineering program with a minor in Mathematics. I have taught students from elementary to college level over the past few years. I am enthusiastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning! I have a passion for sharing my native language, English, with those who want to learn it. I understand the finer points of English rather well and can explain them to native speakers. I graduated from my university with a 4.0 GPA. I took several Spanish courses in that process. Additionally, I have taught native Spanish speakers for the last several years.

I have been in the teaching profession for 23 years and have worked in the Valley of the Sun during that time. I am now retired and looking for students that I can continue to assist with their reading and writing education. I have a master's degree in English Education and Gifted Students. A majority of my educational years were spent in 6th to 8th grade. I would love the opportunity to assist more students to achieve their goals.

I attended a private prep school for the majority of my education and have consistently been a natural at English especially literature.
