Tutoring With Quinlyn
About
I have found lots of available time now that all of my college classes are online. I am passionate about education and many sub-topics of education. My specialites are all over the board from various english topics to performing arts and catching some science and life skills in the mix too. While I am still in school for education, I have been a student teacher for 3 years now helping in different subject areas. My mom is a teacher as well and has given me many tips and tricks on how to help my future students. I am here for YOU!
My biggest passion in life is education; I am currently finishing my second-year at ASU studying Elementary Education. I decided to become a teacher because of my love for helping others. My biggest goal as a teacher is to be able to relate to my students and inspire the next generations of leaders. I have worked to tutor my younger cousins for fun and when they need help, and I am looking to expand my reach and offer services to more people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is always to get to know my students: their interests, their work-ethic, and their lifestyle. I believe this is an important first step in order to create lessons that meet each of my students' needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently earning my B.A. in Elementary Education at Arizona State University. I have been a student teacher for 3 years in different subject. I also attended the National Association for Biology Teachers Conference in the fall which taught me a lot about science education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am open with my pricing and willing to take suggestions from my clients since I am a newer tutor.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think having a connection with a tutor and a teacher make for the most successful impact. When looking for a teacher in any area of expertise, try to find someone that you think you will relate to in order to be most successful.
