Dr. Beverly Jones-Durr holds a doctorate degree from George Washington University in education. She is a speaker, life and business strategist, and educational facilitator. She is CEO at The Writers Concierge and Founder and Executive Director at Every Child Has a Story (ECHAS), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. She has also been labeled "Legacy Builder" because of her work with youth. Dr. Beverly, aside from all of her academic and career credentials, has faced numerous uphill battles in her own life and is down to earth, a coffee drinker and a people lover.

Empowering struggling learners is my passion. I'm Emily Steverson, and I provide personalized online tutoring across a broad spectrum of subjects, including math, ESL, literature, science, social sciences, and reading/writing. Whether you need help with test preparation or require specialized support, I'm here to guide you towards academic success and a genuine love of learning.

As a person with four years of k-12 teaching experience and two years of tutoring experience, I’m confident I will offer you a learning experience like no other. My goal is to help you become more confident in your learning strengths and abilities. As a plus, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English Language Arts, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. I look forward to working with you!
