I am currently a 3rd grade teacher. I have been teaching for 12 years and have worked with grades kindergarten through 6th grade in 3 different states. I work using a hands-on approach where a student is involved in the teaching and application process. I like to have lots of communication while teaching to know when a student understands or not that was I can help in the best way possible.

I am a father with kids in school and I also work in education as a mentor and coach for at-risk youth. A large part of my job is tutoring and helping kids go understand basic math, reading, writing, comprehension, science, and social studies. I often assist my own children with their schoolwork at home. Tutoring is all about patience and understanding and I excel at this.
