Hi! I am an experienced educator with 16 wonderful years of experience working with students. I have a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University. During my career, I have worked with students of various ages, from pre-k to 12th grade. I specialize in Academic Counseling, College Advising, Reading, ELA, Social Studies and primary grades Mathematics and Science. After 30 years in media production, I changed careers and became a classroom teacher through an alternative certification program in Texas. I hold these certifications currently: Generalist 4-8, Social Studies 8-12, Journalism 7-12, and ESL Supplemental 4-12.
