Hi! I am an experienced educator with 16 wonderful years of experience working with students. I have a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University. During my career, I have worked with students of various ages, from pre-k to 12th grade. I specialize in Academic Counseling, College Advising, Reading, ELA, Social Studies and primary grades Mathematics and Science. My passion is delivering individualized and engaging learning experiences for my students and watching them grow! I am excited to meet you and see the progress we can achieve together!

After 30 years in media production, I changed careers and became a classroom teacher through an alternative certification program in Texas. I hold these certifications currently: Generalist 4-8, Social Studies 8-12, Journalism 7-12, and ESL Supplemental 4-12. I recently retired from the classroom, but want to continue my ties to education. The bulk of my classroom experience is with students that have learning differences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and executive functioning difficulties. I have specialized in working with students on an individual basis and delivering instructions based on their learning styles.

I am very passionate about US History and Geography, i feel they are important subjects to fully grasp. I am equally as passionate about helping other acheive their goals, and not to just acheive them but over-achieve them.
