As a Mechanical Engineer and a math minor with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I have been going through many different computer science classes throughout my years of highschool including AP Computer Science A with Java, A+, Net+, Linux+ and CEH. I have also competed in Cyber Patriots for 6 years now, and have been developing little coding projects for it as well. I am recent college graduate from the University of Notre Dame where I studied Computer Science in the college of engineering. While in college, I was a teachers assistant and tutor for some of the most rigorous computer science courses. Overall, I enjoy teaching and helping others to learn, and my strengths in Math and Computer Science are where I know I can really make the most impact. My goal is to cater the teaching for the individual and make sure there is true learning happening beyond the surface level by working with both the parent and student as necessary.
