Hi, I'm Sofia! For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, and with students, I am a patient and nerdy type of person. I love working with students, and I love to travel! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Computer Engineering and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. Math and Science build on themselves, so identify gaps in a student’s knowledge

I hold a Ph.D. from Princeton University with distinction, a testament to my commitment to excellence in education and research. Currently, I am proud to serve as an adjunct professor at various private colleges, where I bring my passion for teaching and my extensive knowledge to the classroom.
