I love helping my students learn a new skill or improve upon something they struggle with. Each learner has different strengths, which I try to gear my lesson toward, so that learning comes more naturally to them. I have been tutoring for over 20 years, and am a certified K-9 teachers with a Masters degree in education.

Hi! My name is Rebecca. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2021 with a degree in Finance and minors in statistics and information systems. Throughout college I worked for both the tutoring center and the math assistance center helping students reach their potential. Since graduating I have continued to tutor. Most recently, I have been tutoring a second and a third grader in reading, writing, and occasionally math. I try to make learning as fun and exciting as possible. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Westminster College in 2013 with degrees in Early Childhood and Special Education. Since then, I have taught third grade at a local private school and 8th grade learning support at Seneca Valley. I teach reading, math, English, and study skills. I have been teaching for 27 years. I began teaching as a special education teacher at Children’s Institute for 2 years and then worked at The Watson Institute for 5 years. I have been at Gateway School District for 20 years as a learning support teacher in the elementary setting.
