Hi, my name is Laura. I have been teaching in various forms of education for over thirty years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education: Early Childhood through 4th grade. I taught in public schools, homeschooled my own children, and taught online to students and adults in different parts of the world. I consider myself laid back and easy to talk with. I am very good at helping students learn the fundamentals of reading, math, and conversational skills.

I have studied Early Childhood Development for three years and have found that molding my teaching style to the student is most effective. I am currently in my final year of college and am majoring in English Literature. I'm a former fourth grade teacher. I, primarily, taught Texas History. However, I have experience teaching English grammar and spelling, reading, science, math and social studies. Prior to teaching full-time, I sub taught kindergarten through eighth grade for five years. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching my fourth grade students.
