Hello, I am Dr. Mike. I am a scientist with a passion for teaching. I have a doctorate from ATSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in and BS degrees in Chemistry and Biology from SOSU. I have over 6 years of experience teaching Anatomy, Physiology, Biology and Physical Science at the college level. The teaching never stops as I give medicinal chemistry lectures, where I work as Director of Clinical Operations at an Oklahoma City Laboratory. My sessions are engaging and very informative as I also use real life examples in medicine to reinforce difficult concepts and make them easier to learn. Hi, I'm Christa, and a fun fact about me is that I can say the dialogue from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by heart. I also speak three languages, and I love working with students! The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Mathematics at Wayne State University and have been tutoring for 2 years.
