Hi, my name is Katharine. I enjoy helping students gain the confidence they need to succeed. Math and science are my favorite subjects and I'm lucky to be able to share that with people. I'm in school for chemical engineering. I’ve taken math classes all the way up to Calc 3 and chemistry all the way to physical chemistry.

I am a current Senior at my local highschool. I'm set to graduate in June of 2021. I've tutored dozen of kids in my area and I've attended a STEM+M school (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine) I'm skilled in a variety of different subjects, and I'm very kid friendly being an older child myself. I love seeing the look on a kids face when the puzzles pieces click together and everything falls into place. It's an amazing reaction that I'll never get used to....

I'm a Medical technologist by trade. Bachelor's in biology 🧪. Just love to teach. Was a tutor in college for high school students. My current job requires me to be able to educate my fellow peers on tasks at times. It's second nature for me to help others.

I love teaching math, science, engineering to students. I have over 10 years of teaching in engineering. My method of teaching involves getting the student to first of all understand the problem, understand what the problem is asking, what information is given,what information the student needs to find, what equations & scientific concepts the student needs to use to solve the problem, and the show step by step to solve it. I also like to draw schematics where needed to help the student grasp and visualize the problem. I also bring everything day examples to help the student understand better.
