I have been a professor of English for 20 years. I have taught composition at all levels, as well as American Literature. For the past 6 years, I have also served as the coordinator for a writing center on my college campus that is staffed 100% by peer tutors. I also teach the course that trains students to be tutors in the writing center. I enjoy helping writers hone their skills. I like to see them make progress and to build confidence in themselves to be strong and articulate writers. When writers recognize their own potential and skills, I find that to be the most rewarding experience.
