My name is Angela Simmons. I am a certified teacher in the state of Georgia. I have 16 years of teaching experience. I tutor all elementary subjects of reading math science and Social Studies. I also help with test prep and can tutor all areas of Reading and Social Studies as well as Special needs students.

I want to help educate students to reach their dreams and help them get there. I teach students how to learn the basic study skills and how to break down the equation. I got my BA in Special Education and thereafter I taught 6 homeschool children (PreK to 12th). Children have the ability to learn. Sometime you just need to show them the course around the obstacles.

I have been an early childhood teacher for over 15 years. I understand the process it takes to make strong readers and writers. I can work with older children, but my specialty is younger children. I love seeing a child’s eyes light up when they find a solution. I love seeing them read a book when them reading when no one has asked them to do so. I also enjoy hearing their perspectives and seeing their creativity.
