As a Mechanical Engineer and a math minor with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

To start out, I love computer science! I have been going through many different computer science classes throughout my years of highschool including AP Computer Science A with Java, A+, Net+, Linux+ and CEH. I have also competed in Cyber Patriots for 6 years now, and have been developing little coding projects for it as well. These projects include automation of different tasks in Windows, and development of a simple application for logging purposes.

I am recent college graduate from the University of Notre Dame where I studied Computer Science in the college of engineering. While in college, I was a teachers assistant and tutor for some of the most rigorous computer science courses. Overall, I enjoy teaching and helping others to learn, and my strengths in Math and Computer Science are where I know I can really make the most impact. My goal is to cater the teaching for the individual and make sure there is true learning happening beyond the surface level by working with both the parent and student as necessary.

I'm currently a college student studying physics, and I'm taking a Differential Equations class this semester. I love math and physics and I love talking about and explaining math concepts! I really enjoy explaining the how and why in depth instead of only explaining the formulas. I believe that by knowing the how and why when it comes to math, it will leave you with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the concepts and material!
