Science And Humanities Tutoring
About
I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2014 from Loyola University Maryland with a 3.80 GPA in History and Forensic Science.
Since then, I have decided that my true passion lies with science, and continued to take extra classes, earning a second degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, 3.84 GPA. In the fall I will be heading to the top forensic science program in the country at Marshall University, where I will earn my M.S. in Forensic Science, with a specialization in either DNA Analysis or Toxicology.
I know that school can be overwhelming, scary, and seem impossible to many students. In the past several years, I have helped many fellow high school students, college students, and others overcome huge problems in classes! My approach is simple: make learning fun, constant encouragement, and reinforce a positive learning experience! Please know that if given the chance, I will make sure not to let you down, and we will work together to discover the difficulties being had with that subject. Together, we will work to overcome challenges, and succeed in making sure you know that you are just as capable as everyone else in the classroom.
School can be hard, but it can also be so fun! Being a fairly recent graduate myself, I am very much in tune with the needs and expectations of professors, as well as high school teachers. I received straight A's in science, love science, and feel that it is a subject that often has a bad reputation. I am patient, dedicated, and truly feel that I can help students find a piece of what they're learning to really enjoy. My areas include: general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, microbiology, molecular biology, forensic science, history, English, and Spanish. Please feel free to contact me with questions and to learn more about my availability.
